TRATAMENTO ESTÉTICO E FUNCIONAL PARA CORREÇÃO DE ASSIMETRIA LABIAL COM ÁCIDO HIALURÔNICO:
Revisão de literatura
Resumo
O tratamento estético e funcional para correção de assimetria labial com ácido hialurônico tem se mostrado uma opção eficaz e segura. Nesta revisão da literatura, foram analisados estudos que investigaram a utilização do ácido hialurônico como uma alternativa não cirúrgica para corrigir assimetrias labiais, proporcionando melhorias tanto na estética quanto na função dos lábios. O método adotado na pesquisa foi a revisão de literatura a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica incisiva, cujos dados foram coletados nas seguintes bases de dados: Scopus, MEDLINE, SciElo, PubMed e Google Acadêmico. Os resultados dos estudos apresentaram casos clínicos promissores com o uso do ácido hialurônico para correção de assimetrias labiais. Os pacientes apresentaram melhora na aparência estética, equilíbrio dos lábios e aumento da autoconfiança, houve evidência de melhora na função labial, como melhor articulação da fala, maior conforto ao comer e beber, e diminuição de problemas relacionados à salivação excessiva ou insuficiente. Concluiu-se que o preenchimento é um procedimento que requer cuidados para evitar efeitos adversos, pois o paciente recebe analgesia tópica e pode retomar suas atividades diárias em um curto período de tempo, apresentando apenas inchaço e desaparecimento da área aplicada por meios naturais.
